MAKER PHASE
I collaborated with the Men’s Training Apparel Design team to explore pre-season ideation around Adidas branding and core brand DNA. Our challenge was to dive into the archives to identify an Adidas "signifier"—an element that, while not overt branding, undeniably evoked the brand.
I focused on how this signifier could be applied across training and running apparel, with a particular emphasis on the training/running jacket. We developed the concept of a "gesture," a design language that could transcend product categories while staying true to Adidas's heritage.
The result was a modern reinterpretation of archived details, including the triple bartack, curved seam lines, and an innovative treatment of the EQT logo. These elements came together to create a fresh yet distinctly Adidas design approach.
