JD MESH SHORT

We were presented with the opportunity to increase adidas’ sportswear presence in JD. One of their most popular shorts is the Nike Diamond basketball short and they were looking for a comp from adidas at a lower price-point. With this short being so challenged on cost- I partnered very closely with development to work through multiple cost options through various silhouettes and materials. The result was a fresh take on the three stripes branding but with a subtle nod to vintage basketball through the shiny mesh fabric. This short was a great example of internal collaboration and external relationship building with the JD team.
